Celebrate Scottish Food & Drink Fortnight with The Pride of Scotland

With a heritage stretching back to 1913, The Pride of Scotland brings together two of Scotland’s greatest traditions, the finest Scottish salmon and the time honoured craft of smoking.

From such humble beginnings as a small smokehouse in a traditional north-east of Scotland fishing village, The Pride of Scotland Scottish Smoked Salmon is today renowned around the world for its great taste and quality.

The key to this success lies in emulating as closely as possible the traditional smoking techniques developed all those years ago. It is a labour of love; a process that is never rushed and where care and attention is at the heart of every stage.

It is also the reason why we are proud to celebrate our long-held fish smoking expertise as part of Scottish Food & Drink Fortnight 2017 (2 to 17 September), which this year has a focus on the history and heritage of Scotland’s food and drink industry (www.fooddrinkfort.scot).

Using the same skills as developed by our forebears, premium Scottish salmon sides are dry cured by hand with sea salt before natural oak smoke gently envelopes the fish over many hours and under the watchful eye of our Master Smoker.

The end result is succulent Scottish Smoked Salmon with an unrivalled taste.
