Associated Seafoods shortlisted for Grampian Food Forum Innovation Award
Associated Seafoods Ltd (ASL) has been selected as a finalist at the Grampian Food Forum Innovation Awards for its Royal Fillet Scottish smoked salmon.
ASL made the shortlist in the Best New Foodservice Product (for businesses with more than 25 employees) category for its Royal Fillet – a premium cut of Scottish smoked salmon taken from the centre of the fillet. These prime fillets are dry-cured with sea salt before being gently smoked for many hours.
Royal Fillet has proved particularly popular among ASL’s export customers, including in key markets such as the Middle East.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at the Ardoe House Hotel near Aberdeen on Thursday 24 March.
